Yesterday I was called into work on my day off. I was at a friends house eating pizza and getting ready to sit down to play some poker when they called me in. The first job I went to was a job I was at last week. At this point I was pretty sure that this was a line problem. So I talked to the on-call supervisor and he agreed so we turned it over to our network team.
After that I went to was a house only a few blocks away. No one was there so I was about to call it not at home, when I got a call back and it turned out they were told i wouldn't be there for at least another half hour so they went out to dinner. So I waited for them to get back. The problem was obviously the box for his internet and phone. I finished the job and left. Afterwards I caught with the one other tech that was still out working. I meet him at an apartment building downtown. No one answered so we went home.
