My first job of the day was right off the main drag of town. This is one of the poorest neighborhoods I know. This house has been divided into two units. The guy here was a little younger than me. He used to be in the airforce, but now works for a contractor with the airforce. He actually helped me out quite a bit which was nice. I had to go down into the crawl space at one point. I saw a beer can and a crusty hole ridden pair of jeans. I told him this and he mentioned that a homeless person had probably squatted down there at one point. I agree. It was also rather soggy down there. After everything was supposed to be hooked up the TV looked like crap and the Internet would work. So I had to replace the line to the house. While I was up there the guy tried to talk me into removing a filter for him, which I wouldn't do. That killed the conversation.
The next job was was near the country club. This was a large house as they all are around here. The place was for sale. I guess the woman here was just renting it for a while. The inside was meticulously put together. Actually the first floor was. Upstairs was a mess. It took a little while to get everything up and running, but when Id did the woman started acting like she wanted more channels. This for me would involve getting back up the pole, so I wasn't too thrilled with it. She couldn't make up her mind as to whether or not she wanted it. In the end she decided not to for now, because she didn't even know how long she was going to be there. She really just wanted Fox News. It seems every time I end up in a house of this size the people are conservative.
Next I headed up to plastic land. This was a new part of development towards the north part of the territory. The door was answered by a contractor who was working on the hardwood floor. The place wasn't even finished yet. The owner was upstairs painting the bathroom. He showed me what to do and went back to work. He was a short man and possibly gay. The job was easy because there was nothing in the place.
The last job was an apartment building near the hospitals. There was an older woman here. She said she worked at the VA. She was having trouble with her TV, I was there to install Internet. Her signal was insanely low. She said someone was coming out in a couple weeks to fix the line. I wasn't sure if I could even install the Internet with such a low signal. I was explaining to her how to use her computer. How she could try to tap into other people's wireless signal, since her laptop does wireless. I went to the box to see if there was anything I could do. Somehow, while pulling things apart and putting them back together again I fixed the problem. So I was able to do the install.

My day started off with my not having any work until 10 am. I spoke to my supervisor and he gave me more work. That'll teach me!
So that first job was an apartment complex. There was a young and very cute girl here. She kicked her boyfriend out when I showed up. The place didn't have much in the way of furniture. She said she goes to school up the road, studying restaurant management. She's from Jersey. She just moved out from her boyfriend's place. She said she couldn't stand to live with boys anymore. They're too messy. The job was pretty easy.
The next job was next to one of the universities in town. This was a high rise apartment I had been in weeks ago but couldn't get to the roof, so I had to reschedule. There was another young attractive woman here. She's a gymnast at the school. At first I thought she said her mom was living here with her but it turns out her roommate was still at home in Kentucky or something. To get cable to her roommates room I had to leave cable across the hallway. She called her roommate about this and the roommate apparently flipped shit over it. But there was nothing I could do. She called the landlord, who was going to come by to do something about it. She spent most of the time on the phone or on her computer.
After lunch I went to another apartment building about 2 blocks away from the last job. In this one there was a young guy. His mom was here to help him move in. As we were trying to figure out how I was going to do the install, she would cut into the conversation then he would cut her off. It was like an ongoing battle. They were installing curtains and cabinets the whole time I was working. He had a bottle of Jack Daniels in his fish tank. I asked him if that was the backup supply. As I was about to leave he asked me about an outlet in the bedroom. I didn't even know it was there until he mentioned it. I could see nothing labeled so it took me a while to track it down. When I finally did, it turned out the line was no good and needed to be replaced. So I turned it over to our post-wire crew.
The last job was further south. This was my only house of the day. There was an old man fixing a toaster oven in the garage when I showed up. He told me his son and daughter in-law were temporarily residing there. Actually his son was in Virginia training with the FBI. His daughter in-law, who was very pregnant, was staying there in the meantime. Their house had never had cable before, so I had to run everything. Thankfully the guy made it easy for me. He told me not to fasten anything, because once they were gone he might just remove it. He even drilled the hole for me. The basement had all this old west paraphernalia. He had a movie poster for a Roy Rogers movie.

My day started at a little gated community, right near a school. There was an elderly gentleman here who, from the looks of it, lives alone. He described the problems he was having and talked about the last time someone was out here. I looked around and eventually found the problem outside.
The next problem was a little further north. This was a really nice home. I've always like this neighborhood too. The man here works from home. He works in the medical field. His wife does real estate. The guy wanted me to take off my boots, so I wouldn't ruin his nice carpet. This always irks me, but I' do it anyways. We discussed the problem and I wasn't too sure what it might be but we decided to replace the EMTA. The whole while we talked about computers. Mostly macs. He showed me this really nice custom built mac that he bought off some student for half price. The student was hard up for cash. I guess he disappeared too, cause the guy tried to call him and the number was disconnected.
The next job was in a high rise apartment building just south of the university. There was a couple of Indians (of the Asian variety) here. One was complaining about his slow speed. He would demonstrate this by trying to download some bollywood film. I replaced a couple things which didn't really help. Then I had to explain to the guy, that the problem wasn't with us.
Afterwards I headed to my first afternoon job early. This was a house that was nestled between a major park and an interstate. There was construction in front of the house so I had to park down the block. When I got there the guy explained that he had both a modem and an EMTA and the modem quit working so now he is using the EMTA to get on the Internet. So I took the bad modem off his hands. Then he showed me a downed line in the alleyway. Which I removed so kids won't go playing with it.
Then I had a brief lunch and went back to a job I was at last week. The one I was talking to yesterday on the phone. This time there was nanny there. The dog got the cone and bandages off and seemed a lot more mellow for it. I had been speaking to tech support earlier about this job so I already new what to look for and how to solve it. So I wasn't there long.
As I was leaving I noticed that one of my afternoon jobs had cancelled so I only had two jobs left. The next one was another little gated community, much farther south. The place was littered with all sorts of Native American art. Lots of ceramics that looked Central American. Tapestries and pantings on the walls. There was an elderly couple here. I only dealt with the with but I could here an oxygen machine in the back and at one point she said she needed to check on her husband. I looked around and determined the problem to be the modem itself. But as I was installing a new one I found out that our system is down. So I could not get the new one running. In fact its probably still down as of now.
The last job was a house in the same neighborhood. There was a gentleman here with his teenage daughter. He was telling me about all the problems he's been having with his modem and all the people who have been here. Unfortunately my meter was telling me nothing was wrong. Which meant I had to go through and replace anything and everything even remotely suspicious. This journey took me to the attic of course. While I was up there sweating profusely, as if I was in a sauna, my back started killing me. When I got back down the TV in his bedroom wasn't working properly, which meant I had to go back up there and mess with things some more. Eventually I had it all working again.

I'm so fucking tired today. I really need some sleep bad. I knew right away I would have no patience. My first job was a house that's been converted into apartments. Only 4 apartments though, so the apartments were huge. I almost left when the guy here finally woke up. I was a little aggravated by this. Why make an appointment if you can't keep it. He showed me where the TV was and then said he didn't want me to install the Internet. I was fine with that. They had a pool table where most people would have put a dinning room table. This is obviously a bachelor pad. Eventually the other guy woke up, but I was leaving by that point.
The next job was in the land of scrape offs. There was rather handsome gentleman here with his dog. he mentioned a roommate but it looked like he lived here alone. This house had a foosball table. The guy would play fetch with the dog throwing the ball into the yard from inside the house. The dog would wait on the porch inconstant anticipation. The guy was answering phone calls from work. Or maybe he worked from home. I saw a document from the IRS saying he had been audited and had been found a little short a few years back. The job was easier than I thought it would be which is always nice.
My first job of the afternoon was a large house near a castle. At least the map says it's a castle. As much as I can see through the trees, it looks more like a mission. It's right near where I like to park and read. There was a very elderly couple here just finishing up their lunch. The wife left not long after I showed up. The husband would ask me questions about what I was doing and make suggestions about how I should make it look better, which was getting on my nerves. Then he would go and play piano a bit. Then he would come back and inquire some more. He kept going back and forth the whole time. At one point I got a call from a customer from last week who told me her internet isn't working. I told her I would call her later. When I was finished installing the Internet I had to walk the guy through how to use it all. I was trying to be as patient as I possible could at the moment.
The next job was closer to my place. It was a brand new apartment building. I had not been in this one. It looked nice. There was an older woman here with a child. I could tell she was just baby sitting. I believe she was the grandmother. The kid would just run around and say yes or no in a constant stream. Eventually the mom showed up right as I was finishing. As I was leaving I called the job from last week. She said she set up an appointment for tomorrow so I didn't need to come out there. So I went home.

As I was leaving the office today I noticed that my first job cancelled. So I called the next two to see if I could show up early. The I woke up and they were very confused. The second didn't answer so I found my favorite shady spot and read for a while.
I showed up to the first job. There was a hispanic man in the front yard with a small boy. The man was sitting on plastic furniture that looks like it was stolen from a fast food joint or something. They had a car sitting in their front yard. The neighbor was a white guy working on his car. He had a van that was covered in metal stickers (I don't know any of the bands, but you can tell by the design). I went inside and there wasn't a whole lot of furniture, but there were a lot of kids running around. He showed me a room with a computer sitting on the floor. There was a TV in the room and only one cable that was currently in the TV. He asked me to make it so that they wouldn't have to switch the cable between the Internet and the TV. I split the signal to do so then I started on the Internet. The modem wasn't working. The mouse for their computer was broken. They didn't even have a mouse pad. So I had to move the tracking ball with my finger to get it to do what I want which was very tedious.
Next I headed to a nice little house near plastic land, but not quite there. There was a young couple here. I noticed a police uniform in the closet. For some reason I assumed this belonged to the husband, but it could just as easily belonged to the wife. Hell they could both be with the police. They wanted me to create a phone outlet so they could get an alarm installed. We spent most of my time there just figuring out what needed to happen. The husband mentioned that the guy they bought the place from had flipped the house, so there was some things about the place that didn't quite make sense. Like the phones. I got the job done and had a quick lunch.
My first job of the afternoon was an apartment in a building along one of the busiest streets in town. The door was answered buy a large woman with tattoos and short hair. On first impression I thought she was a lesbian, but then she wouldn't stop talking about her husband. She kept talking about how he knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to hooking up TVs and how you don't want to be around him when he's mad. She herself has suffered a heart attack recently. I notice next to her bed she had soda, some candy and a package for some Hostess type pastry. None of which a person recovering form a heart attack should be consuming. She would also keep talking about how she missed the futurama marathon last night and how much she misses her TV. It was an easy fix.
The next job was a duplex a little farther north. There was a black couple here. The gentleman had his shirt off when he answered the door. The woman led me to the computer, then showed me a piece of paper from the last tech who had been there. The paper basically detailed exactly what I would run into. The problem was their computer and in the end I used my laptop to explain this to them. At this point the woman had taken the dog on a walk, so I explained everything to the husband. He seemed cool about it. I couldn't help but get the feeling that the woman was the main instigator behind my visit here.
The next job was in a neighborhood I really like. The houses are nice and modest. Which to me is very refreshing in this age of bigger is better. It seems every new house I see (Plastic land and the land of scrape offs) is overblown and gaudy, which is why I prefer older more modest homes. All that being said it is a nice neighborhood and I'm sure the houses are at least $500,000. There was a woman here with her friend. Her friend seemed to be complaining about her dating troubles. Actually she was complaining about the various men she had been going out with (one wouldn't make eye contact, etc. etc.) . The lady showed me to the modem and when I went to unscrew the connector it came apart in my hand. So I replaced it and left.
My last job was in a large apartment complex. It's very easy to get lost in this place. The apartment had a very peculiar smell to it. I didn't want to be there any longer then i had to. I soon as I got the paperwork this morning I knew that this guy had been accidentally disconnected. I used my powers of deduction to find his connection and reconnected him. then I headed home.

My first job was up in the poor neighborhood that I work in. I was met outside by a pregnant hispanic woman who showed me in. She had one of her kids do the translating for us. She then said she needed to take the kids to school. The house was divided into two units. Her sister was in the other unit. It turned out that there was no line for this unit. So I had to run a new line. At this point I noticed two other techs hanging out down the road just chatting. They must have been there about an hour. Eventually as I was about to finish the job they came over to help because they thought I was having a problem. It turned out they were on leakage duty. Which means they drive around and find points where our cable signal is leaking into the air and fix it. Apparently I inadvertently fixed one of their problems. To do this install I had to go into the crawl-space, which wreaked of piss. Like someone's been using it as a bathroom.
The next job was in the same neighborhood, but a little to the west. The guy looked like I just woke him up. The place was in disarray. I was there to install phone only, but I could tell he was currently getting video services. The previous resident must not have been disconnected. I made sure he knew he was only getting phone. I went up to the pole and put the filter up there that blocks everything but phone and after I came down and put up my ladder the guy came out and said his TV was all screwed up now. I tried to explain to him that he was getting TV for free, but he was not signed up for TV currently. So he asked me to set him up with basic, which I did.
Afterwards I went back to an install I was at last week. The one with the little dog that kept trying to bite me. I was back to get the Internet working. That damn dog was at it again. When I finally got it working the woman wanted me to set up her DVD and VCR as well. Then I had to explain how to work everything. She just wasn't getting it though. I was getting obviously frustrated with her. I get really annoyed when I have to explain things over and over.
My last job was at a very nice house. The people here have done a lot of work on the place. There was an old woman here who said she was holding down the fort for her daughter. There was a child sleeping so everything was said with a hushed tone. They had a dog that was wearing a cone and had bandages on all four feet. I asked if the dog had surgery, but the woman said their was a block party last week and the kids kept playing catch with him on the asphalt and ended up wearing down the pads on all four feet. I took a look around and figured out a really easy way to do the install. I was just there to hook up phone and they already had Internet and TV. The job took me an hour, but they gave me all afternoon to do it. So once I was done I went and got a new driver side mirror. Then I went home.

The meeting this week was more lighthearted. Though apparently there have been three accidents in the last week. One guy ran into a coors truck, while another guy tried to turn his van on a dime and rolled it on top of a parked car. I can't believe someone actually did that.
My first job was in apartment town. There was a black guy here in his early twenties I couldn't quite tell if he was an immigrant or not. He got really concerned that I was dropping stuff on his expensive persian rug, After a while he offered me some cocaine, said he was doing a couple lines, asked if I wanted one. I turned him down. Then he tipped me $10, but I wasn't completely done yet. So I got a little nervous after these interactions and wanted to finish as quickly as possible. After doing the coke he would just sit on the coach and laugh at some magazine that he was reading. It was a high pitched annoying laugh, that for some reason seemed typical for someone who does coke. At some other point he offered me Earl Grey tea as well.
My next job was a apartment complex tucked away in the southern regions of town. There was an older gentleman here who even though he was very much american, looked Irish or English. I was there to set him up with Internet. He had a lot of questions about our services.
After lunch I had a job at a town home complex. The family here looked arabic but they were asking me about the international rates to cal Israel. They already had Internet and video so I was just there to hook up the phone. There was one woman there that was very attractive. I've always found women from that part of the world very attractive, maybe it's those dark eyes. I was just about done when it turned out none of the phone jacks were working, they were all wired backwards. So I had to pull each wall-plate off and re-wire it.
I then headed to my last job. This was back in apartment town. The guy who lived in this apartment was a lanky tall man with a speech impediment. There was several parchments with arabic on them on the walls. He was watching a spanish soap opera off of bunny ears. He kept asking me questions about exactly which channels he has and whether or not he could cancel in six months. This was my last job so I finished it quickly.
It turned out that my rider today was not in fact the assistant to my supervisor's bosses boss, it was the man himself. He is a very muscular black man, he must work out. He doesn't seem too much older than me. It took a little while to get over the fact that a Superior was riding with me, but he reassured me he wasn't there to evaluate my performance. Rather he was there just to see how things were doing in general.
My first job was a large non-descript building. In fact it looks like it used to be an office building of some sort, but now it is an art institute with dorms. We woke the kids up in this place. This was a two bedroom dorm with two beds in each room. But there were more than four kids here. They must have partied hard. One kid said he had the equipment from his previous place in his car, but could not find his keys. In fact he spent over an hour looking. In the end he grabbed the wrong box, so in fact he did not have the equipment. The next job was an apartment building on a major road. At first we couldn't get in contact with the woman, but she eventually came out to meet us. This install went easy and quick. He did all the talking.
It was too early for lunch so we picked up another job. This was a house with an old Jewish couple. The gentleman wore quite a bit of gold. They were having problems with their phone. I noticed right away it was the phone itself and not our service. We offered to call the customer service number for them to find a way to fix the phone. But they said that that particular model does not do that. Then the old Jewish gentleman started to get really pissed and started yelling at the man and calling him an idiot. The man said that he has been screwed with in the past and won't let it happen again. It was about this time I noticed the tattoo on his forearm of letters and numbers, which made me think he must have survived a concentration camp. We eventually left and then I had to drive my rider back to the shop because he had some people to meet up with.
My first job of the afternoon was an apartment building near me. The woman answered the door and said she had scheduled it for tomorrow, but she had a couple hours to spare. So I went ahead with the install. She an her boyfriend both seemed nice. He new how to work everything and was showing her, which saved me time. She had a bunch of interesting Native American art in her bedroom. I was out of their pretty quick.
The last job was another apartment building closer to downtown. The woman had just showed up from work. We were talking about how hot it was and she mentioned that she was in the army and served in the Middle East and ridiculously hot it was. Now she works for an insurance company, doing what she referred to as the most boring job in the world. This was another quick job. I got to go home a little early.

They had me doing installs in the southeast today. My first install was a large building towards the border of the city. I have been here once before. They already had phone so I got to install Internet and video. There was a young guy here. He said he was out of work currently, then boasted he had no shortage of cash. Then he said he was going to try to start a business with a friend selling credit card machines to small businesses. The install went pretty smooth, but when I got out to my van the guy yelled down to me from the balcony and said that they also wanted a box on a TV in the bedroom. He never mentioned that before, so I had to go back up there and hook that TV as well.
The next job wasn't too far away. There was a woman here with a large dog and a parakeet. The would bark at me every time I entered. The woman mentioned that she just got divorced and had to move out of the house. Her and her husband are selling it and splitting the proceeds. At one point the dog brought me a stuffed hedgehog. I grabbed it and played tug-o-war a bit and I had it totally beat. Then a couple minutes later it brought the hedgehog back but this time left me the end with all the slobber on it so I couldn't get a good grip and the dog won. That was one smart dog.
The last job of the day was yet another scrape off. The place was really close to the University. I was told by the movers that they were moving from just two blocks away. I guess they are renting this place while their other place is being renovated. I had to run a new line to the place. There were movers and audio-visual guys there so there was a small army constantly moving in an out of the place like ants working away. In fact the audio-visual guys did quite a bit of my work already for me.
Afterwords I went to a ford dealership close by to try and get a new driver side mirror. They didn't have it. But while I was there my supervisor contacted me and told me I was going to have a rider with me tomorrow. It's going to be the AA (I assume that means administrative assistant) of his bosses boss. He told me to make sure my van was clean. So I went and vacuumed and washed my van and then headed home.

My first job of the day was a house on a major street. I like all the houses along this street, they are all very nice. Though parking on such a busy street is precarious. The lady was very nice. In fact she works for the company. She works in HR at the building my mom used to work at and when I told her who my mom was, she got even nicer towards me. We talked a long time about the company and trying to advance. She said she would try and help me as much as possible. When I got back out I noticed that my driver side mirror was trashed and of course no one left any information.
My next job was at an apartment complex. As I pulled up in the parking lot a guy wearing a bathing suit approached me a said his cable was no longer working, I told him to call it in. There was a young couple in the apartment watching skateboard videos. It turned out to be exactly what I thought, they were accidentally disconnected.
The next job was in the land of scrape-offs. This particular part actually has no scrape off because the houses here are huge and beautiful already. The door was answered by a woman who showed me to the computer. She then started to ask me about all sorts of questions that have nothing to do with cable. She wanted me to teach her how to work all her various software programs. I tried helping her a little but was beginning to loose patience quickly. At one point her cat climbed up onto my back to see what I was doing. Then while I was there the woman from my first job called and said one of her TV wasn't working. So I went back there and it turned out I hooked something up wrong. After that I spent my lunch at a police station filing a report for a hit and run. Not like anything will come of it, but since it was a company vehicle I need to go by the book.
After lunch I headed to this building that I must have passed a million times on my way to a friends house. It's on the north side of one of our bigger parks, near a golf course. This building is divided into about five town homes. The lady here was very nice. She was watching some trash on MTV. I wasn't entirely sure what the problem was so I replaced the line to the building. The levels looked a little better, I hope that fixed the problem.
The next job was on the other side of the park. There was a couple still kind of moving in. The only thing I could see was a low signal. So I rearranged things outside to give them a better signal.
Next I went to another apartment building near a different park. I've actually been in this building before. The woman here works from home. She said does IT work. Once again the levels looked off. so I went outside. There was a guy under the awning wearing a pink shirt with a shopping cart that probably had everything he owned. He was reading a book away from the rain. While I was at this job I got a call about my last job, it was from a tech in the suburbs who had been trying to fix his friends Internet. He told me what to expect.
My last job was yet another apartment building, but in another part of town. There was two women living here. I got the Internet working with my laptop, so the problem was with her computer. She then had me take the modem with me since it was useless at that point.

Today I started with an install on the top floor of an apartment building in the area. There was an older woman here with a little dog. Why do old women have little dogs? Though it seems I run into a lot of little dogs these days, I wonder if this is a trend or if its always been like this and I just haven't noticed yet. Anyways this little bastard tried to bite me twice. Though it was so small it couldn't do much. The install was easy but I was running into problems with the Internet. I was on the phone with my tech support when she kicked me out because she needed to go to work. So I had to leave without finishing the job. She's supposed to call me so I can finish the job, I just hope it's not on my day off.
The next job was a house. The door was answered by a nice gentleman in his work clothes. As far as I could gather he is a lawyer. At one point he was on the phone talking to his latest client about their case. He already had video services, I was just there for Internet which made the job very easy. He was also on the phone talking about someone (his wife?) who has been in the hospital and how they're doing. Afterwards I helped him get his wireless router working. He then tipped me a $20.
I took my lunch and then headed to my next job. The customer wasn't there yet, so I went into his backyard and checked out everything I could outside. Then I went back to my van and read until he showed up. He had the cute little spastic puppy that would not settle down. I was just there to add phone, since he already had TV and Internet. As I was finishing up I asked how his other services were doing, which he told me his TV has never worked right. In fact he has had several people out here to look at it to no avail. I decided to replace the line to the particular TV which meant going into the crawl space. This was a tiny space which meant slithering around on my belly and the whole time as I was down there wiping cob webs off my face I had the song "Boris the Spider" stuck in my head. I did a few things and improved his TV which he was happy about but I was not able to fully fix it. I wasn't sure what else I could do, since it sounded like everything has been covered by everyone else who had been there.
As I was leaving I saw that my last job had been taken from me. I called in but there was no work to do, so I read some because it was still early and then I went home.

The day started with our weekly meeting where everyone got ripped into by our regional boss for poor performance. My morals already been low lately and this is just made it worse.
My first job was at the top of a high rise apartment building not too far from where I live. The place was really nice. The guy moving in just graduated from college in Tallahassee, now he is going to grad school in the area. But still there was no way he could live here on his own. Apparently his Dad had bought the place, possibly to resell or rent out when the son graduates. Anyways it's posh living none the less, especially for a student. The whole family was there to move him in. His little brother was sleeping on an air mattress right in front of the TV, the parents had to prod him to get him up. This was my only job of the morning so I took my time with it.
The first job of the afternoon was actually a place I've been to before. I not only did the video install here, but I replaced the line to the house, so I knew that much was good. This made it incredibly easier. When I got in the house everyone was incredibly chipper, jovial even, which made me really confused. Like why are they so happy? Which probably raises questions about myself. The Roto-rooter guy was there as well and the place literally smelled like shit. He had the toilet off and all sorts of hoses down there. I was working in the basement some and at one point a bunch of the water came pouring down. The lady here told me that the guy had been here all day yesterday.
My last job was another house. The was a black woman here. She lived in the basement with her husband and three children. Her parents own the house and live upstairs. I was there to install Internet. Her kids were all very interested in what I was doing. She kept shooing them away from me. Their yard looked like no one has ever done work on it. There was couple kids bikes and a bunch of super soaker cartridges. Eventually I got the job done and headed home.

Today I was back in my usual area. I started at a house. I was greeted at the door more a slow moving old woman. She had a little dog that wouldn't quit barking at me. When I saw her TV it was obvious that the problem was with her TV. It had all these black lines through it. She spent the whole time talking about how her dog had recently had spinal surgery, pointing out its scar on the back.
Next I headed to a building that was like two apartments. A woman answered the door and directed me towards the back saying the line was cut. I went back there and saw that they were doing yard work and cut the line, which should have been buried but never was. They mentioned it was their daughters place and they were doing yard work while visiting. I repaired the line a scheduled a time for someone to come out and bury the line.
Next I headed to a town home in the same area. The door was answered by a immigrant woman, I wasn't exactly sure from where. The place smelled like an Indian restaurant. In the living room there was a large portrait of a military guy, possibly a family member. Upstairs in the bedroom there was a whole bunch of pictures of Jesus Christ. I figured out pretty quickly I needed to replace the box. As I was leaving the woman offered me a diet crush soda.
I then went to a retirement community. The door at this place was answered buy a short black guy who was wearing shades walking with a cane and carried himself in such a manner that I couldn't help but think that this is what gangsters are going to look like when they get this old. He even kept mentioning his escalade. His TV would not come on. He asked me if I was married, which I replied no. He then told me not to. He started talking about how his wife threw a fit that he was paying more attention to sports than to her and she yanked something out of the TV. He mumbled something about how women will even tell you they're into sports, but will still complain if you watch sports. I told him she must of yanked on the plug its self because this TV won't come on. He got really mad, cause the TV was rather new. He started to sing a line from a gospel song but stopped after the first line. Then he got up and walked around on his cane and was mumbling to himself, something about how he tries. Then he thumped his chest, flailed his arm out and formed his hand into a gun much int he same way children do, and pulled the trigger. At this point I wanted to get the hell out, before this guy got any crazier.
It was early enough so I called my first afternoon job. It was in the land of scrape-offs. This was absolutely huge. It looked new. There was a for sale sign up front. The door was answered by a woman in her early twenties who looked like a total snowboarder. She also looked like she just woke up. She pointed me downstairs told it wasn't working and then disappeared. The remote for the downstairs was bigger than two PSP's. It took me at least 15 minutes to figure out how to work the damn thing. There was a bunch of beers some empty, some full. I finally got the thing working, then I went back upstairs and couldn't find anyone, so I gave myself a bit of a tour. There was a room specifically for poker. It had the most elaborate poker table I had ever seen. It was probably worth more than me. Eventually I went upstairs and started shouting hello. Some guy in his early twenties appeared out of nowhere in his boxers, he had obviously just woken up. He signed my paperwork so I could go.
I was still running way early at this point so I decided to actually have a lunch today.
Afterwards I headed to a town-home complex. The door was answered by a big athletic looking black woman with her leg in a brace. She had just had some surgery. I went around replacing all sorts of things but could not fix the problem. I ruled out everything but the box, but when I replaced the box, the new box was acting worse. The problem was obviously with the system. But it took for ever to fix. In the mean time she offered me some lime-ade and told me about herself. She works on trials for new drugs. Which requires a lot of traveling. She told me she used to do physicals for insurance companies on the side. She told me once she went into a guys place the schizophrenic. She said the place was filthy and the guy kept mumbling to himself. When she found out he was schizophrenic she got worried he might be off his meds. She told me another story about a guy who flipped out when she said she needed to take a blood sample.
The next job was in the same retirement complex as the crazy guy from earlier. Their was a woman who couldn't speak, but had one of the little hand held devices that you hold up to your throat and allows one to speak. Her head was in constant movement as well, like a bobble-head doll. She just wanted me to shut off the closed caption on her TV.
My last job was in an apartment complex. There was a Hispanic woman here. She showed me the bad box which I promptly replaced and went home.

My day started at an apartment building near a local university. There was a young Chinese guy moving in, his mother and younger brother were there to help move him in. I went out to try and find where to hook his apartment up. After searching for half an hour I finally got in touch with someone who told me that where I needed to go was on the roof, which was locked and the only person who can unlock it was off today. So I had to reschedule the job.
So I picked up a new job. This was in a gated community that I have driven past many of times through the years. The houses here were huge. As I rolled up I could see a landscaping crew coming out from the back, so I immediately knew they had cut the line. And sure enough when I got out back they had. So I worked with a guy who said he was the son of the guy who lives here, to repair the line. Eventually I saw his father, who looked rather old and moved around gingerly. The son was keeping a close eye on everything to make sure it was all done right, probably because he would be living here soon enough. Once I finished outside I went inside to check the TVs. In the bedroom I saw pictures of this guy with Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and Henry Kissinger, some were autographed.
Next I headed east towards the burbs for an install. There was a tall lanky black man here. He was of good humor and very comfortable to be around, he reminded me of Bill Cosby in this manner. As I was installing he started to ask me what I like to do. I told him I like music, he mentioned that he mainly listens to jazz. I told him the jazz artists I liked and he stood there shocked. At one point he mentioned that he was shocked that some white kid listened to that stuff. He then showed me his record collection. All original stuff from the 60's. He then gave me one of his records. I felt a little bad for taking it. So I helped him hook up his stereo and his DVD player and his VCR. I felt I should at least earn it. The whole while we talked about jazz. He played records for me. Then when I was done he sat me down in front of his TV and we watched DVDs of live performances of these artists. Before I knew it, my lunch had past and I should already be at my next. But who cares I was having fun and I can't remember I could honestly say that during this job.
The next job was in a different gated community south of the university. The woman here was old and very clueless. When I explained that the only way to get the Internet to her computer was to have a cord going through her bedroom, she got very frustrated and started complaining that this city is so backwards compared to Arizona. Apparently she has a house there too where she lives in the winter. In fact she said she would be there in a month. I was really hopping she would cancel and save me the trouble, but no such luck. One thing I noticed was that all the TVs in the house were set to Fox News. I tried to finish as quick as possible, because I was running a little behind and still had one more job.
My last job was in a rickety apartment. I haven't been here before. The stairs were rusty. There was an old man here who answered the door with no shirt on. He told me that his TV would turn black and white on HBO at night. This is the second time I've heard this in two days. So I contacted my supervisor. He said he would check some things. I replaced the box and told the guy he might want to check his TV out.

Dragonflys
I started out in a fancy part of town. The residence was a town-home. As I approached the front door I noticed several newspapers laying about as well as the mailbox which was overflowing with mail. So I knew nobody was going to answer the door. They obviously were out of town. So no one answered and i went to my next job.
This job was just to the south of the fancy area across a creek in a high rise apartment. The woman was nice, she had lots of interesting artwork on the walls. She mentioned she had just got out of the hospital recently. I looked everywhere to try and find a problem and though I found little things, I couldn't find anything that really stuck out to me. So I was left with the uneasy feeling that I may not have solved the actual problem. At one point she mentioned that she used to work for the phone company. But there is no way someone who worked for the phone company could live here. Unless she made money afterwards or was married to someone who made money.
Next I headed out east close to the suburbs. This job was in a small community I had never been in before. It took me a while just find some parking, then as I was walking to the unit I needed to get to I of course saw closer parking, but it was too late and I'm not opposed to walking. There was a lesbian couple living here, who were quite nice. Everything was working when I showed but I tinkered around and found out that the cable to the box needed replacing. As I was replacing the cable they asked me if I knew anything about subwoofers. I said no, sometimes it's best to play dumb. Although once I finished with the cable I couldn't help myself and tried to see if I could fix it. I don't know if this was due to generosity or due to a fondness for tinkering with things. Either way I couldn't get it fixed.
They scheduled me light for the morning so I started calling my afternoon jobs to get a head start on the afternoon. The first job I called was a guy who had no clue I was to show up. He then told me not to bother. But he proceeded to tell me the problem he was having. His TV would turn into black and white on HBO at night. But only on HBO and only at night. I personally had never heard of anything like this before. I told him to try a different TV. So I cancelled it and called the next job.
This job was an apartment building on a very busy road. There was a couple living here. Both of which seemed a little slow. The woman would come into the conversation about 15 to 20 seconds late. The guy seemed to be able to keep up, but he would constantly ask me questions about everything I was doing, which was getting very annoying by the end. I saw a reflective vest and a stop sign, I guess he works construction. The problem they were having is that they weren't getting a specific channel. What's weird is that I didn't think any one actually watched that channel. Anyways, they were running the cables under the carpet and the channel would cut in and out as I walked over it, so I replaced those, but that didn't quite fix the problem. At this time I checked the levels which were way too low. Then I felt like an idiot for not thinking of checking the levels sooner. Oh well. I turned out I needed to turn it over to our team that will replace the line to the apartment its self. As I was leaving the man try to offer me a tip, which I politely refused. They obviously had less than me, I couldn't take their money.
The next job was in another apartment building only a few blocks away. I was in this place recently. There was a guy in this apartment, about the same age as me. He had a projector with screen as his TV. It looked nice, though a little big for the apartment. The problem was obvious form the get go and I could see the problem as well. I replaced a few things, but there was still some problems. So I replaced the box and was on my way.
The next job was my only house for the day. This place was near where a friend of mine's dad lives. There used to be parties there all the time back in the day. The house was nice. I got the impression that the guy owned it. He was probably about the same age or maybe a year or two younger than me. He had a friend there and they were trying to install an air conditioner in the window. He wanted me to check out his TV and help him get his airport working for his mac. The airport I did first which was easy. Then I went out back to check a few things and when I got back inside the TV was working. I explained to the guy what happened. He seemed pleased that everything was working but I wasn't because I didn't really do anything to fix it. The odds are things quit working once I left. He decided to tip me which I took. I considered it to be for getting his airport working. He insisted on giving it to me, he said he was a bartender, so his big on tipping.
Last I went down south. This was an apartment building near one of the intestates. An old woman answered the doors and as she started to explain what was going on a younger man showed up. I figure he is her son, taking care of her. He proceeded to show me the computer in his room. He is very religious. There were images of Jesus and angels all over his computer and various quotes from the bible posted around the computer. He asked me about the fact that I work on Sundays. I told him it was the only shift where I come in a 8 am, I'm not interested in going into work at 6:30 am. HE agreed he wouldn't want that either. They had a weak signal so I rearranged some things to give them a better signal. Then I went home. I'm totally burnt out on this job, and I'm not interested in putting in any extra work at the moment.

My first job was near the edge of the area I work and the area to the south. In fact I first thought it was a different building and went to that one first. But when I got there I quickly realized I was at the wrong place. The right place was a town-home complex. This place was trashed. The carpet was so stained it was a bunch of shades of grey rather than tan. The screen on the TV was broken. There was a black woman here that really didn't speak much. It seemed that she had service before, but possibly under a different name. i think they had their services cancelled and had to get reinstalled under a different name. The job was incredibly easy, I was out of there quick.
The next job was at an apartment complex in apartment town. The name on the order was a business. I got there and there was a couple of guys delivering furniture and no one else. I called the business and they said that the person moving in wasn't going to be there until tomorrow. They wanted me to just set it up, and said that the person would just have to deal with where i put things. I never did find out who was going to end up living there. I wondered why one would have to have a company set all this up for them. It was nice not having to deal with the customer, it definitely makes the job go by faster.
Next I headed to an apartment building south of one of the universities in town. I got all the way to the customers door on the 7th floor. When no one answered the door I called and the customer. He told me he just got done canceling the order.
So the next job was way on the east side of town, practically in the burbs. It took my a while to find the apartment in the building, it was set up a little weird. I finally had got in touch with the customer, I was there to re-hook him up. He got disconnected a day or two ago, I'm not sure if that was due to not paying his bills. The door to where I hook him up was locked and the leasing office was all gone on a company function, so I had to reschedule the appointment.
Afterwards I headed to a house further south. The door was answered by an old chinese man who directed me to the telephone even though I was there for the internet. I went to the backyard confused then a younger woman showed up. I asked her if I was there for the internet or phone and she said the internet and directed me inside. Once inside she called her husband who explained to me that they haven't had internet since the last lightning storm. Everything else was working fine. I eventually tracked the problem to their wireless router which simply needed to be reset.
I went ahead to my last job, but no one was there because I was early so I drove a little ways away and read a bit. I came back and someone was there now. He had an accent. I think he may have been spanish. He showed me around the house and of course it involved making a new outlet, somehow I knew it would. It was backyard easement which means I had to carry my ladder through the neighbor's yard. They had the cutest little kid that watched me work but never said a thing. The whole time they were listening to folk music a la Gypsy Kings.

The day started at an apartment complex for retirees. As I was there I had a couple different people ask me where I was headed and they proceeded to tell me that that person wasn't there. They seem to be very nosey around here. The guy was in fact there. He was an elderly hispanic fellow, very nice. He offered me a hat he recently brought back from the Bahamas. Too bad I don't wear hats except for at work. He said he used to work for a rec. center downtown. He would teach boxing, sculpting and other art classes. He was also the lifeguard. He also said he was a judge for boxing, for the olympic committee. The job was incredibly easy. Though while I was working at the box outside I set off the alarm.
The next job was over by the hospitals. It was actually for someone I used to work with. Ten months on the job and this is the first time I ended up working on someone place that I know. He was moving in, we talked about the place we used to work at. He's still there. He collects arcade games and pinball machines. They take up quite a lot of space. We talked about various things. I then went to lunch.
My next job was in plasticland. There were two young couples here. I think the women were moving in and their boyfriends were helping. They must have been 18, this was obviously their first place by themselves. There was clothes all over the place and hardly any furniture. They were confused about exactly what I was there to do, they thought I was going to install a wireless network. Eventually they just left me to do my thing. As I was leaving I noticed dispatch took my last job. I called in for more work but there was none. So I went home.

My day started at an apartment complex that is largely resided by immigrants. This particular apartment was the apartment of a Jamaican woman. She seemed nice. she was very happy to see me, she had missed a previous appointment. The place was a horrible mess. I know she was moving, nut the place looked like she just grabbed stuff by the handful and dropped it wherever. There was no organization to any of it. She was extremely happy to get her TV back, especially the westerns channel. I don't know if I've ever seen someone so excited by westerns. She told she didn't find out until recently that a lot of westerns were made in Europe, like The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. For a while a friend of hers was there, he was Jamaican as well, he got a call at one point from his work where he proceeded to tell them he was sick and wasn't coming in. When I got the TV back on the end of For a Few Dollars More was playing so we watched that as I was trying to get everything else working. Towards the end I was trying to figure out why none of the phones were ringing, but that was because she had the ringer turned off on all of them, which I though was weird.
Next I headed to my next job which was on the same block as my place. The guy there was young, probably a student. The unit itself looked newly refurbished. He pointed me towards a blank wall plate and said that's where the cable should be, but when I took it off nothing was there. I groped around inside the wall but found nothing. So I had to turn the job over to another team. I then took advantage of my location and used my bathroom.
Afterwards I had lunch (first time this week). Then I headed to my first afternoon job early. This was only a couple blocks away from where I live. There was a black guy here. I was there to set up his internet and phone, but he didn't even know if his computer can even go on the internet. It was old and he said he got it free. He told me he works for the company that puts out those video tutorials about how to use computers. The one with infomercials all over TV. He kept asking me about how to apply to my company though. When I was finished I showed him how to look for jobs with my company.
Next I tried to call my next job, but he said he wouldn't be home for another couple of hours. So I had to pick up another job in the area. This was a phone problem, in one of the huge mansions that's just south of the botanic gardens. The place had artwork all over the place. The stairway hat I used most of the time (there were multiple stairways going up and down) was completely covered with artwork done by their kids. When I had figured out how to get the cable and phone working it turned out that most of the cable channels weren't working. His other TV looked like crap too. I spent hours replacing everything, too no avail. Eventually I had to replace the line too the house, but it was too high to reach with my ladder. Actually I might have been able to reach it with my ladder but it would have been very risky, so I called one of the line techs who has a bucket truck to come over and help me. When he arrived he let me use the bucket, which was fun. Once I finished it I headed to my last job.
The last job was in a large, very confusing apartment building. One could easily get lost here. There was a young black couple here, still moving in. At this point I was already late for the day so I was trying to move as fast as possible. So I really didn't notice much I just wanted to go home.

My first job was at an apartment complex I hadn't been to before. It was a series of buildings broken into four units each. A round Native American gentleman. He was very nosey about everything I was doing to the point of annoyance. It took me forever to hook his TV up because he didn't have the necessary parts. Then he said that the previous owner left the place furnished, which left with all sorts of ideas as to what exactly that might mean, but for whatever reason I never bothered to ask further. There was this really awesome picture on the wall that looked like the cover of a Slim Cessna's Auto Club album. They had three very tiny dogs with purple ribbons in their hair that would not quit barking at me. The guy didn't seem entirely sure what he wanted, and would change his mind about things. But at the same time he would obviously have little to no clue about what he was talking about so would just kind of ignore him.
The next job was in an retirement community/apartment building that was only a few blocks away. Strangely enough as I show up at the front desk the woman there is on the phone talking to someone who is saying that the person who is moving into the apartment Iw as there for was running late and wouldn't be there until later in the afternoon. I talked it over with the staff and they let me in to do the install anyway. It was nice to be left all by myself to do the install. One thing I really enjoyed about it was there was no furniture or other crap to dodge to get my work done. The install itself should have been quick, but I couldn't get one of the phone jacks to work and it took me a while to figure out what the problem was.
I skipped lunch and headed to the next job. this was some brand new town-homes up in plasticland. The guy who answered the door was nice, his brother was there too. I was running later than I wished at this point so I started working fast to try and make up time. At one point I started talking to the guy. Him and his wife had just moved here from Washington D.C., he's here to work for the state legislature while his wife works for the forestry department. They had three different snakes and a lizard. I don't see that too often. His brother was asleep on the couch the whole time.
Next I went to one of the worst neighborhoods in my area, which is mostly apartment buildings. This particular building had been recently remodeled and is easily the nicest building in the area. Though all the cable had been severed in the process. This person in particular though had already had his repaired. I was there to install phone. The door to his place was busted in. He said someone looked in his window and thought they saw the stove on fire or something and called the fire department who kicked the door down when they arrived. There was nothing in the apartment and he spent most of the time talking about the things he's going to get. Like a 48" TV or buy back the laptop he sold to his boss. While I was there I upgraded him to have internet as well. Though the situation seemed sketchy I do get a commission off it.

The day started with me having too much work. And before I left the office they kept giving me more. My first job was in a house that looks to have been divided into two units, though it could have been constructed that way. The guy was about the same age as me, he was working on light switches which he said was for work. He mistook the ground. I was there to fix his TV's. I could trace it back to a few bad connectors and a splitter. Once finished I hit the road.
Next I headed to an apartment building. There was a young woman here, I could see reading material about nursing around. She mentioned she was a student at a local university hospital. We talked briefly about it's move which I guess is mostly done at this point. The problem was easy to pick out. She had been accidentally disconnected. The worst part was that everything was mislabeled in the box in the alley way.
Next I headed up north to the poorer neighborhoods I work. In this particular house the door was answered by a confused hispanic teenager. he had no clue what was going on. He left in one direction to see what was going on, but obviously got no answer. He then went in another direction and finally got an explanation as to why I was there. Unfortunately the problem as he described it doesn't apply to our services, so I had to tell him to look elsewhere.
Next I headed closer to downtown to a nice big house. In fact all the houses on this particular street are big and lavish. this particular house they have been doing renovations on themselves and had just recently been able to move in. I was there because their router had quit working. Now I had taken a class on installing a home network about 3 months ago but this is the first time I had actually had to deal with such a job since, so I hope I did it right. The house was huge, thankfully I didn't get lost or I might still be there now.
Afterwards I got some gas for my van and went to the bathroom. then I called an afternoon job and skipped lunch to get an early lead ion my afternoon. This job was at an apartment complex that takes up a whole city block. Can't say I particularly care for this new trend. There was random piles of dog shit both around and within the complex, which makes me wonder about how much the people who live here respect this place. Or maybe they're just so spoiled they can't clean up after themselves or their pets. This particular apartment was littered with religious paraphernalia and various quotes from the New Testament. I knew right away they had been accidentally disconnected, which was much easier to fix than the earlier job.
I then headed north again to the poorer neighborhoods. The door was answered by a very nice hispanic man. I was here to correct a botched self-install. He was very curious as to what the problem was, because of his pride he felt he should have been able to hook the internet up himself. It turned out the problem was a filter on the line and the modem was bad. It took me longer than it should have. In the end he offered me a drink which was nice.
As I was leaving I got a call from dispatch saying they had called ahead and confirmed two of my jobs were not at home so they were going take them from me and give me two others. It didn't quite make sense but I just went with it. So I went to my next job which was a little east. The door was answered by a black guy who looked and sounded like Uncle Ruckus from Boondocks, but he wasn't as crazy. I was there for their phones, which weren't working. I was investigating things, when eventually he mentioned that he had accidentally vacuumed up the phone chord upstairs and he was wondering whether that could have been the problem. Of course it was. Then he started asking me about his computer, which was never hooked up. Actually it wasn't even plugged in. But it turned out the computer wasn't even able to get on the internet.
Next I headed to the resort town. The door was answered by a young guy. There was a woman there as well, but I guess they were just roommates. The guys room was covered in jam band tour posters. He also had a cork-board that was completely covered with ticket stubs. Everything was working fine while I was there of course. So I just had to go around and fix whatever I can and hope that was the problem.
Then I headed to my last job. this was a house I was at last week and the guy immediately recognized me. I know I replaced the box last time, so I replaced everything else I could find. As I was doing this dispatch called me to say they wanted me to go back to one of my jobs that was not at home. I told them they took that job from me so it is no longer my problem. It was their bad idea to call these jobs not at home, i had no desire to go back. Besides it was past my quitting time, so I finished and went home.

My first job today was at an apartment complex in a suburb just outside of town to the east. There was a lesbian couple here. It was entertaining to watch their interaction. That sort of antagonistic playfulness. They would include me into it as well. They would say stuff like quit trying to show off for the cable guy. One wanted to know what I listen too. She wanted me to tell her about bands she didn't know. They had a puppy running around as well. I was extremely tired today so the jocularity helped with getting into the day. It took me a little while to do the job.
The next job was a house farther back in town. I was to upgrade them to phone. The place was a bit of a mess. A guy answered the door. There was a woman there (not sure if she was his wife, fiancee or girlfriend). She had just woke up when I got there and sounded rather hung over. They had various jam band and grateful dead stuff all over the place. The job was cake. Considering how tired I was I was not interested in make things any more difficult than they need to be.
After a short lunch I headed to my next job early anticipating that this was going to be the most difficult job of the day. Sure enough it was. There was a very elderly couple here. they both had walker and was extremely nice. The woman had retired with the local university not too far away, she said she gets free internet because of it. I had to install the phone, but they hadn't had any cable in forever, so I had to run a new outlet. This house was wood rather than the usual brick I'm always working with, which was a nice change.
Last I headed to the south. This was a cluttered apartment. There was a large guy there and the smallest scottie dog I've ever seen. It was wearing a shirt. It was a speedy little dog too, darting all over the place. They were just moving in and the place was very cluttered. They also had a brand new computer. At one point his girlfriend came home from work and then jumped into the shower. I just wanted too finish and get home as quick as possible.

To start the day I went to a house on the most northern part of my area. It's also one of the worst. I've noticed that the neighborhoods get worst the closer you get to the interstate. This house was like a cube that was divided into two units, top and bottom. I was to install phones in the bottom unit. No one answered the door. So Iw as able to call it not at home, which I was relieved about because it looked like a nightmare install. So with my extra time I ran to the post office.
I called my next job and was able to get there early. This was a house that had been divided into two apartments. The woman was taking me up to her apartment upstairs when the old man who owns the building stopped us and proceeded to explain the layout of the building. He kept talking about how one line was antenna and one was cable and that I should label the one that is cable. He was barely making sense, but I got the gist of what he was saying. Unfortunately the line to the apartment was really old and crusty so I had to replace it. Luckily I got there early. The woman was really nice, she had just graduated from graduate school and was going to become a physician assistant. She made it sound like she had to get out of her previous residence quickly, which makes me think of a bad break-up.
I then went to the library to pick some things up and had lunch. Then I went to my first afternoon job. I was at the apartment and no one was answering so I called and it turned out I had the wrong address. This was the former address. I went to the new address and the door was answered by her teenage daughter. Then another kid appeared pant-less. She showed me around and I saw another teenager upstairs and and little kid. She mentioned her sister was living downstairs and I realized that the second teenager was her younger sister. I largely just kept my head down and worked because I really wanted to get off on time today. It did take me a while to figure out how the place was wired though.
My last job of the day was at an apartment complex, I was to switch out the modem for an EMTA which does both the modem and phone. This was supposed to be an easy job. The apartment had two bedrooms one looked like it was for a little kid. There was recording equipment through out the apartment. The guy who was there said he didn't live there, but he kept talking about the phone as if he was actually living here. There was a formality in which he approached it, like it was business or something. Somehow I got tripped up on the internal wiring of the apartment. I finally got it figured out when I realized I ought to just simplify the matter. Then everything worked.
As I started this blog I got called out to a job I'll be glad when this on call shit is done. Apparently someone fucked up a job then tried to dump it on to our network team. So it was 8 pm and I have to go out there and fix this shit. When I got there there was already another tech there and he had most of the work done. I helped him finish. I guess I shouldn't complain I get at least 2 hours overtime for this mess. I just hope that the tech responsible for this gets what's coming to him.
