The day started at an apartment complex for retirees. As I was there I had a couple different people ask me where I was headed and they proceeded to tell me that that person wasn't there. They seem to be very nosey around here. The guy was in fact there. He was an elderly hispanic fellow, very nice. He offered me a hat he recently brought back from the Bahamas. Too bad I don't wear hats except for at work. He said he used to work for a rec. center downtown. He would teach boxing, sculpting and other art classes. He was also the lifeguard. He also said he was a judge for boxing, for the olympic committee. The job was incredibly easy. Though while I was working at the box outside I set off the alarm.
The next job was over by the hospitals. It was actually for someone I used to work with. Ten months on the job and this is the first time I ended up working on someone place that I know. He was moving in, we talked about the place we used to work at. He's still there. He collects arcade games and pinball machines. They take up quite a lot of space. We talked about various things. I then went to lunch.
My next job was in plasticland. There were two young couples here. I think the women were moving in and their boyfriends were helping. They must have been 18, this was obviously their first place by themselves. There was clothes all over the place and hardly any furniture. They were confused about exactly what I was there to do, they thought I was going to install a wireless network. Eventually they just left me to do my thing. As I was leaving I noticed dispatch took my last job. I called in for more work but there was none. So I went home.
