Mother's Day

My first job was was at a little duplex. A young couple were moving. The woman told me she was previously living in a mansion. I knew which one she was talking about, I had driven past it before in awe. Apparently she is a student at a local University which owns that property. She had a job which involved managing that property, which I guess was rented out for weddings and other events. The perk of the job was that she got to live on site. She then mentioned that she will probably never live in such a luxurious place again.
My second job was another duplex. The whole family was there. I didn't quite feel like making small talk, partly because I had family plans tonight (being Mathoer's day and all), so I was trying to speed through my jobs and not talk too much. There really wasn't much to notice about this family. Though the wife tipped me, which was nice.
My last job was a family of what seemed a single mother and her three teenage children. Got to give her alot of respect for that. The kids seemed pretty stereotypical. I guess the oldest one is 18 and just moved back in. I'm not too sure what led to his coming back to the nest, but he seemingly had nothing in the way of personal property. Eventually a whole bunch of her family showed up. She had been cooking the whole time. So by the time I left the place smelled great and there was all kinds of kids running around. She offered me some BBQ, but I had to politely decline since I already had plans.
